Title: Anyone have a camper shell?
Post by: SUPdad on May 22, 2019, 07:59:03 PM
I'm thinking about ordering a cab high shell (most likely a Snugtop as there's really only one dealer around here and that's their preferred brand) for my '16 Tacoma and am wondering how this will work out.  I usually attach the foil to the board while it's in the bed of the truck.  I'm kinda thinking this won't work out so well as even with the tail hanging off the tailgate, I'm not sure I'll have clearance.  Anyone doing something like this?  Thanks!

Well, I’m a retard. ;D Went to set up the board today and if I have the foil mount near the edge of the tailgate, there should be just enough clearance.
