Title: 2018 fanatic bamboo carbon 50 paddle

Good paddle and price and even better price when you get it on sale at just over $200+. What I like about this paddle is the bamboo/carbon mixed shaft, its one of the best imo. The blade Width7.25", Area90 sq.in./580 cm and this size blade would given my shoulder grief but not with this shaft combo. The blade is nice mixed of tear drop and high aspect and it has a nice grab and release and not worrying about being a technical paddle stroke freak. I started using with the race board 73" shaft length then I cut to 70" for the surf and the shaft still have a nice flex (paddle weight 560g)

Fanatic specify it at 670g (23.6oz). Does yours actually weigh in at 560g?

Also $200 is Australian dollar not US.

560g weight is cut to 70" shaft length on 90sq blade. Its about 100g heavier than some of the top end & boutique full carbon paddle.

At 20oz it's not going take any awards, but $150 for a decent paddle is certainly a good deal. I have 2 of that range for my loaner program ;D
