Beautiful place. Beautiful weather. Beautiful water color. Beautiful waves.  What a great place to be.

Thanks for sharing the video.

That surf looked shoulder to head high to me, my favorite conditions.  Is that a typical size there?

Zoo, they always seek conditions that will suit the SUP crew on the boat.
They avoid the super hollow, hard breaking waves preferred by proners, so it's a really great experience for SUPsters!

That is such a beautiful video!

Bert Burger, Sunova partner and shaper, ripping that opening wave on his longboard.

James Casey slashing his orange/balsa Flash! What a great smile he has  :)

Lots of Sunova's are stocked on the boat.... no need to bring a board if they have your size.
I know they have at least 2 green/blue Creeks!

Zoo, that was pretty typical of our surf, sometimes bigger but not too big. What I call 'fun size', big enough to challenge you but not too scary. Bert probably rode 100 waves like the one in the video and James had 200.

How are the lefts there?  Are there any?

Ha, same question. Thinking of making this part of a 10 yr anniversary trip with my wife.

Would love to, Boston to Maldives 10 day epic boat trip would run $6k+

I could swing that but the divorce would really hurt  :-\

We only surfed rights on our trip, but there are spots with lefts. Bert is a goofie-foot and complained a bit, but made the best of it. The spot  where we spent most of out time had a left, but a barge got stuck on it and ruined it.

I'm a goofy foot and prefer lefts, but with rights as beautiful as those were, I doubt I'd complain too much. Looks amazingly fun.

Great video. Maldives have been on my bucket list for a very long time. Not for SUP though. Maldives are one of the premier snorkeling destinations in the world, and I hope to fulfill a long held dream by traveling there for a snorkeling vacation in late 2020.
