Wow that JP video is awesome!  Love some of the hard cuts that guy makes and really like the ways he comes back and hits the whitewater.  Comes in on foil, loses some lift in the turbulence, surfs it out, and back up on foil.

That Zane downwind video reminded me - Kalama was talking this past week about foil downwinders and said his longest glide so far was 22 MINUTES!

It shows that the best board tail shape for foiling small waves is the basic round tail, too wide or long in the tail can stick during turns. Pulling in the template reduces the 'grabs' and allows you to bottom turn or cutback.
