My pleasure. I was impressed that you foiled so well on those difficult and crowded waves. Let's do it again, this time at Trails where the waves are probably more suitable for foiling. I'll try to get the SoloShot centered a little better on you, the zoom makes it tough.
Any other Zoners want to meet up down there sometime in the next week or so?

Anyone want to try ?

what time do you usually go?
-
I haven't spoken to anyone else yet, but I was thinking of early this Monday.
-
I'm driving up from San Diego, so with good traffic it takes me about an hour. Also, Monday is a bad day for me, but please keep me in the loop.

Looks like the surf may be going flat for a bit anyway.

Nice video. And as an added bonus for me, I liked seeing the dolphins at the beginning of the video.
Thanks for sharing.

That does NOT look easy! I would love to demo but you're a bit far from my neighborhood! :P

Did you foil there? If so, how did it work on those waves?

Pretty fun
Rolly wave with a long shoulder.
100 Yard glides..moves fast..
Consistent smooth energy, fun fun

I'm surprised to see you get away with changing your foot position so much, and keeping your feet off the centerline when you're up on the foil. I've been watching a lot of foil video while I'm laid up with carpal tunnel surgery recovery, and most of the surfers start with their feet in place, lined up on the centerline, and positioned for the foil. I was kind of despairing of that because my geezer balance dictates where I put my feet on takeoff.
Dave K told me his cousin Junya does that, and he hasn't been able to cure him of it--he makes it work. So that's two people doing it the way I probably need to.
