I need somewhere to get a lesson. I'd love to add a mast mount to my Coreban and have something to do when it's blown out.

That got me Stoked. I'm going to stick some superfreaks in my board bag for padding. I've got a couple in HR, but more here. Perfect sail for that kind of thing, no bang, just pull.

You Dog, you! Nice video... I've been doing a little WindSUP on the Kona Molokai 10'6 with a 5.8 Aerotech WINDSUP rig. Lotta FUN!

Looks so relaxing and so much fun at the same time. Love it! Superfreak looks like the perfect sail for that type of windsurfing.

Thanks Randy and JD...
It does seem like this could be the Summer of WindSUP love, 10 years after we started putting mast tracks in SUP's...
We're getting lots of inquiries...in fact, just started building a full carbon 8'11" Hammer WindSUP for Andy out in North Carolina...

Here's another three POV vid clip that I put together with some different footage than the one above...

https://youtu.be/ApuSJP18BJ0

I'm still using the same 5.8m2 Hot SuperFreak from back in the SOS "Big Red" 11'11" days...the first production WindSUP...

That was big time fun at the time...but, my Hammer is 3' shorter and much faster...and, lighter...with less swing weight...WindSUP progression...

I still have my Big Red! Warren, do you remember when I got the Extremist in the pictures above? Starboard had just come out with the Extremist line, the shortest production boards available at that time, they made a 9'0 x 30 and a 9'8 x 30. You recommended the 9'8; I remember you saying about the 9'0 "Might as well just go surfin if you go that short". My, how times have changed.

Aloha Laszlo,
ahhhh...the early days of standup/windSUP...

I do remember that 9' & 9'8" Fish...it sailed like a POS!...;-)
In addition to the rocker being too flat and the big wide nose, soft 50/50 rails...very little Vee...the mast foot placement was in the wrong place...and, don't even think about using the footstrap inserts...totally whacked...yes, my how times have changed!...for the better!!!;-)

I still have the original "Big Red" prototype...we installed a G-10 plate with screw inserts for the mast foot...and, we still have our first production "Big Red"...and, a bunch of other protos in our SUP museum...

Our WindSUP prototypes before that were 27" wide Clark Foam tandem blanks...after we were done with them, one of them ended up in Hood River...the other went to the East Coast...
