Title: Crossing the Channel - Catalina to San Pedro
Post by: Close SUP on March 28, 2015, 03:49:49 PM
I'm looking for any tips or advise on crossing from Catalina to San Pedro. I do have a boat for support. The plan is to do it sometime in July/August. Id there anyone on the forum that has done this? Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

Here's an inspirational video for you.  Team Bark paddled to Catalina on a Friday, ran the Catalina Marathon on Saturday, and paddled back home on Sunday.

Crossing the channel is a pretty special feeling and if you have the chance do it.  I've done the R2R a few times on prone & SUP, and it's a really fun well-run race.  Of course if you do it on your own you can choose the best conditions for your crossing.  PM me if you want to talk or meet up sometime.
