I just traded with another Zoner for a QB Magic paddle. I just received it and it's in great condition but the back of the blade seems unfinished. I've never seen a Magic model in person so I wasn't sure if this is how they are supposed to be. I can't really describe it but it's not glossy, it has more of a textured/matte feel to it. Just wondering if this is how the Magic blades are supposed to be.

Let me know how you like it as I've been toying with that one or a KeNalu.

Dimples? If so, that is the design feature of the magic. Kind of like a golf ball.

Yes, I know it's supposed to be dimpled on the magic models, it's the finish of the back side that I'm wondering about. The texture/look is rough, like a matte finish (think when you run your hand across it). It doesn't have a smooth clear-coat like the front of the blade.

Matte is fast. The bottom of my raceboard is matte to match my paddle :-)

Thanks free, that's exactly what I was looking for!
