I would appreciate any thoughts on the issue of how far to depressure an iSUP for storage. I have a 12' 6" Imagine Mission inflatable with I paddle at about 20 psig. Since I have the space to not have to fully deflate the board after use, frankly I think rolling it up may be worse long term. I was curious have far to drop the pressure for storage, I am a bit concerned at 20 psig for a week or two might stretch things.
Thanks for your input.
I don't know if there is a "right or wrong" answer, but I do what you are contemplating. I deflate mine so it still has some shape, but it is soft enough that I squeeze it. I don't use any science or deflate it to any specific pressure. Just so it is not under a lot of pressure. Hope this helps.

Anywhere from 2-8 PSI, so it has shape, doesn't get wrinkles or creases but won't be under strain. (And out of the elements of course.)
Obviously best but on the other hand I know rental places that pump 'em up and leave them that way for the season. Lots of sun and all.
Yeah, I should have clarified that if I'm using mine a lot over a period of time, I'll just leave it inflated, although I don't leave it in the sun. It's when I'm not going to use it for a while that I deflate it.
Thanks everyone for you feedback. I have been currently depressing it to about 5 psig (where it starts to feel slightly soft) based on when I start to pump it back up. I think this makes sense. The board is not in the sun during storage. It is now 3 years old and looks like new except for a couple of "blisters" under the deck pad, I suspect these occur when the board is fully depressed and rolled up.
Quickbeam, I might have asked you this before, but which iSup do you have?
Hi Spirit,
I've got the Red Paddle Co. 12' 6" x 29" Race. It's a 2014 model that they don't make any more. It's a good board but one thing I've found is that it is almost impossible to paddle it going against wind. I'm told most inflatables are like that though.
I just leave my iSUPs inflated and don't mess with them. The ULI stays pretty much fully inflated from one year to another if I don't touch it. The Starboard very slowly goes down. But both are just fine to be left in my experience - out of the sun, that is.
