Back in the water today after a long cold winter. Conditions today in Buzzards Bay were epic......flat a$$ calm like a sheet of glass. I wish I was as hard-core as supthecreek and the rest of the seasoned paddlers to paddle in the dead of the winter, but i've come to realize i'm a "fair weather" paddler and i'm cool with that. Hopefully mother nature keeps throwing us some bones with beautiful days like today so I can get some consistency in my training. If anyone is interested in paddling together hit me up here and i'll do my best to meet up and paddle.
Stay stoked!
Had a couple of great 1 hr paddles this week in Woods Hole. Feels so good to be back on the water!!
Ive been without a board and honestly its been dang cold out, but i am stoked to stroke this week for sure!
Are you guys doing the Run of the Charles this Sunday?
I am entertaining thoughts of doing the 9 mile... it's going to be a perfect day for it.
My issue is... there may be decent surf on Sunday... dang... I'm such a junkie :-\
hey Creek, not I. Ive got to coach my Special Olympics swim crew in their tournament at Bridgewater State Univ.
Good luck to ya if u go!
Sorry, I didn't see your replies >:(... I had to run down to NY last week for some family issues and couldn't make it up for the Run of the Charles. I will be available for the next few weeks with a little advanced notice. If anyone is an early riser, I usually get an hour in before work when the wind is light. Hit me up if interested.
