I couldn't do that in my living room fer crissake! I'm glad they showed the falling outtakes at the end....at least he's human. The Gong crew sure is having fun.
I've been practicing and I have just about mastered the moves at the end of the clip.
Im with patfly, Ive got the 2:39 to 3:13 scenes mastered I also scream like a girl (No offense ladies)

Yeah, but can he rail-ride?

Gives us something to try and master.
Wonder how many times he feel off, loved the outakes at the end .

Does GONG provide some special pills or magic potion when you buy a board?

That oughta keep me busy for the next couple decades.

This guy's nuts!
gotta try that after a few starbucks. ::)
So what's the big deal? I can do everything that guy did from about 2:40 on.
g
Hmmm! :-\
Very cool...imo...unless he's doing it right in front of a group of people and trying to impress them.. ;D..then maybe a bit uncool.. :D.

On a day when a lot of people would be complaining about how there are no waves, he's on the water doing his thing and having a good time at it. If it was all for show off, I don't think they would have put in all those outtake falls at the end. I think the video was a bit long but pretty cool.
He certainly has good skills but can he perform all that beyond the impact zone in deep water?
I'm not sure about that, but I have seen guys like Leleo Kinimaka in the lineup, sinking the tail, almost tombstoning it, doing all kinds of fancy footwork, in the wind and chop. Mind blowing and inspiring.
As i can see, L'Ours is training, waiting for the waves. With that aquatonic mind training l'Ours gonna rip every next swell.
From about 2:40, he fells without leaning on his paddle, water is cool there!
