Do you have to go to Africa for it to be a "real" expedition? We have been doing multi day high water river trips for three years now. So have a lot of other paddlers.

I didn't say multi day ;-) -I said "expedition" ... and it really was... 2 hrs of land rover driving to do 1.5km of distance over rock and shelf and trees and bush... torrential downpours... quite and adventure.
