I've read the RRD topic with lot of interest as I'm looking for a sailable SUP. I think I'll buy a RRD Diamond Classic Wood but don't know if I should go with the 10'2" or 10'6". Volume wise, they're pretty much identical (157 vs 163), same width 29.5" so only the slight difference in lenght. What do you guys think will be the difference in paddling/sailing between the two?? Will the 10'6" be a lot more stable or just track better on the flat??? ???

I will do some flat paddling for training,  hopfully some paddle-surfing on vacation, some sailing on flat or small wave and would like to be able to give a paddle-ride to my child from time to time (30 pounds). I'm 180 pounds. I don't have any paddling experience but  I'm an experienced windsurfer and I have surf a few time (longboard)

Any comment would be appreciated as I have to make a choice soon... Ah maybe I'll just choose my favorite color!!! :D
