Sam is shaping a new 7'10" x 27.5" x 4" board from scraps.
So far he has invested $27.00.

For example, the plastic stringer is actually exterior siding.

No.........this board was finished back in March of 08' so I just up dated this forum. The bolts came from the gang at "Lightning Bolt Maui". The cool thing about it........It's laminated

The block was 8'x 48"x 6". Found it at a job site rubbish pile. So I made my own rocker template, PVC stinger (cut & glue), template outline, shape , and glassed.

So the finished board is now 7'-10"x 28"x 4 1/4". It takes a little bit of balance, but is soooo much fun to surf.

Nice work Sam, impressive craftsmanship and a beautiful finish. Looks like a rocket ship!

You got talent bro! Scraps from the rubbish to SUP...insane! Man after my own heart too...I love finding wood to use for projects that would end up in a landfill otherwise.

7'-10" Short SUP update

Ok....it's been along time coming but I finally did it.... I was always thinking of making video of this board I made a year ago, but I had no knowledge of editing video. But now that I know how to use a gopro camera.....It's done!

Hope you guys enjoy........

It's also on youtube......I prefer to use Vimeo. I don't need to go through the copyright BS that Youtube restricts you to use.

Aloha.....Sam
