Nice.

What board is that? 9'5?

linter

beautiful footwork.  and, does he even have fins on that board?  great stuff, dj.  thanks for sharing!

WB_BB

I was thinking the same thing, it looks like that board is so loose. Great video

Dwight (DW)

On the Aussie forum they say it's a 9'0.

It doesn't look like it's 26 1/4 wide. Could that be a typo in the Naish specs?

Great vid, DJ. Your sup-bud rips in those small waves... Love the looseness of that board, too...  Thanks for sharing and making me wish this winter was behind us, instead of ahead of us here in N/Fl...    Later,   JD

awsome band, too.  love oz rock.  voice sounds like jim barnes.  but the band is kind of the hoodoos...
any clue, somebody!?

HaleiwaBill

Very cool! It looks like he running a smaller set of thrusters fins to help break the tail loose. His footwork, control and style are AWESOME!!!!

All Rounder

hey Guy's glad you like the vid.  It was only a small day with no punch.  The board is the 9'0 Nalu, that's 26.14 wide.  It is narrow for a stand up but i rock's, it has great drive.  Which allows me to run the fin set up.  The Fins are stock Naish fin's, so the side fins are similar to M5 and a 6' back fin.

Also the last two waves im on the 10'6 Nalu as well.  Its hard cause of the yellow. lol...

keep on ripping...

Great video. Where in Australia is this filmed?

DavidJohn

It was filmed in Victoria (the south east of Australia for those who don't know).. and at a place called 13th Beach.

It's between Ocean Grove and Geelong and about half an hour from Bells Beach.. It often gets swell when other beaches have nothing.
