I think kitefoil raceboards have a very parallel outline with almost no pinching at the tail.
However i remember an interview with D.Kalama in which he mentioned copying the shape of race kiteboards because they workrd real well for winging...but this was in Kalama E1 times and way before Barracuda etc...

I think you're right about the older Kalama models. Looking at this new Heineken board I see reference to KA kite foil race board such as the one below both outline and bottom shape. The only deviation I see on the bottom shape is the fading chine definition at the back third of the board that blends into a rounded bottom at the back.

As for the Barracuda, KA made few board that looks exactly like it so you can't mistaken it's origin.
