My current (for about a year) 'lunchbreak' cam is Tamarindo, CR.  Not the best of anything, but a refreshing look at a place where people are having fun ...and a decent camera image.

My favorite is actually Doheny. It's right below my house. If it looks good at any moment, I can be in the water in about 5 minutes:)

But I'll watch the 'Lowers' Trestles cam to see the pros rip it up, and check out all the new hundreds of E-bikes  ::)

A little too much onshore wind this afternoon.

Rick 'shark hunter' Weeks put me onto this coldwater cam years ago. They have improved the image ...and thank god, slowed down the pan.  Just when you saw someone take off - the cam switched to open water.

T-D ...this rings in my ears when I saw your post.  Buggers!

The latest fads with our California surfer girls are thong wetsuits and old Ford vans. There is a group of Brazilian and California surfer girls around here that have a bunch of late 60's to early 80's Ford Econoline vans. Some with the 3 on the tree transmissions. It's a thing. VW vans are unattainable price wise, as well as any sprinter vans (Not Cool either). A girl just down the street has one, and it's awesome to see all these girls in it and her shifting that 3 speed manual smooth as can be. They prefer the original paint look, and have the hippy curtains installed:) These girls are typically nose riding single fin'rs.
I figure you'd like this pic:)

A little offtopic, but I couldn't resist when I saw the picture you posted.

The Econoline looks nice, but what REALLY caught my eye was the Lockheed P-38 Lightning aircraft parked in the hangar behind the van.

Just a little mind blowing.... I don't know why. I like that the original paint is a thing, too. Great photo of a cool van.

Me too... Winger.  That's a rare bird.   Yeech on the van.  We had a similar vintage Dodge to pull my wife's horse trailer.  We even did a marathon drive to Surf Expo hauling all our c'hit in it.  It was like a beer can with a Briggs and Stratton V8 in it.
