A water person's movie: My Octopus Teacher
« on: September 22, 2020, 10:48:16 AM »
My wife said; "What is this stuff?"  I download in town and bring USB sticks home.  I simply hit up Amazon, Netflicks, etc..  I redemed myself with this one.  This was pretty remarkable.

If you liked this, I recommend listening to the RadioLab podcast episode: Octomom

I just watched it--amazing. But the narrators voice is so mellow I conked out twice. No problem, rewound and continuted.

Admin and Chan watched it and then Admin did 15 minutes worth of parody of the accent and content during a phone call to go wingfoiling. Hilarious. Clearly there was sexual content that the movie didn't show--or at least Admin is certain of that.

The parody was better than the winging conditions, which went to shit quickly.

Possibly it is because anthropomorphism is just inherently sexy but I saw what I saw on day 273.  That kind of tenderness, the unspoken lure of 2000 tentacles, the convenient privacy of the nearby kelp forest.  It happened.

Wow, Admin. I’m going to have to watch it again. I really enjoyed it the first time, but next time I’m going to turn the lights down low, close all the curtains and snuggle up to my significant other to see what I missed the first time around.

Amazing documentary we really enjoyed it!

I’m wondering how long he was able to stay underwater?  Also, he said the water was 8 degree Celsius , that’s 46 degrees no wetsuit there would be significant shrinkage!
