So I thought this might be a fun little topic. A place for stories, and/or pics of when foiling might have taken a little bite out of ya.

I'll lead off with a pic of the results of not paying attention while entering the water with your foil machine....

...courtesy of the rear wing catching your leg when a wave brings the inverted floating board and foil crashing down onto you as you try to stop them from hurtling into the sand.

Let me count the number of dumb moves getting into this so preventable situation...(uh three?)  ::) :(
Me: 6'1"/185...(2) 5'1" Kings Foil/Wing Boards...7'10 Kings DW Board...9'6" Bob Pearson "Laird Noserider"...14' Lahui Kai "Manta"...8'0" WaveStorm if/when the proning urges still hit.

I'm to scared to post my story because it brings back nightmares and not including what it could happen  :o :-X 8)

I had one just like that. Getting this stuff into and out of the water is more or less the most dangerous part.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Hey nice legs Sano  ;D

Funny how the quads seem to get the brunt of my foil injuries.  One time i was lazily paddling over a head + wave thinking that i had time before it crested but quickly realized that i was too late.  Thought that i would just jump over the lip and all would be fine.  The jump was fine but the lip picked up my board and wacked my thigh.  That was a deep bruise but I think my ego was bruised even more.
