There are two great surfing DVDs from Tofino.......the first was called "Numb" the sequel which perhaps could have been called "Nummer" was titled "Shrink".....for obvious reasons. There is a series on one of the DVDs that was of a tube that they were riding inside fully upright.......spectacular. We only get conditions like that with big winter storms and at a few remote breaks that you have to motor into. Years ago Wendy and I went to the World Premier of the first DVD.......it was at the local legion and projected on a bed sheet....the hole town showed up.....kids and grand parents....everyone! Surfing is a huge part of our community.

Your board looks great. That chartreuse color makes your board stand out.

And I must say, surfing in weather like that has to be hard core. I can't do that. Congrats on getting your board and riding it.

Hi

Out this morning. Bright sunshine and cool -1 C to +4 degrees. Patches of snow and frost on the ground. Nothing like yesterday's little blizzard. Tiny little waves. Soloshot worked well except for about 20 minutes where it had a small stroke and lost me......only to regain it's tracking. The Creek is a very good board that I look forward to getting out in some bigger waves.

Bob, didn't you know?  There is some sort of voodoo involved that makes the surf go flat whenever anyone gets a new Creek. LOL  Seems to happen to most people who get one, happened to me big time.

Yes Zooport.......now that I think about it perhaps you are right.......the waves will only return when "Creek" returns home ........

Great to hear SNS,

Great board.....high performance with just enough stability built in to allow us mere mortals to surf it! Two more weeks of work for me and then a week back on the "Creek". It's like waiting for Christmas!!!
