I'm doing some performance analysis work on sup races and I'm trying to locate events that have been around for a few years that have been run over the same course and same distance each time. I can find a few for the uk and stuff like the chattajack. However are there any others you know that I could look for (and that have results available that are going back at least 4 years).

The PaddleGuru.com lists almost all the US races and retains the results. The HanoHano would be a good sample because some of the best US racers have raced in it for near the past 10 years.  https://paddleguru.com/races/2014HanohanoHukiOceanChallenge   They changed the HanoHano short course about 5 years ago, and lengthened it maybe 1K?
Select the races tab, and you can go back through years of results. You will see Danny Ching, Rob Rojas, Chase Kosterlitz, Chuck Glen and Thomas Maximus Shenanigan to name a few.

Are there any longstanding flatwater races you can think of ?

Definitely NOT flatwater, lol, but the Cape Ann Rowing Club has good data for both the Essex River race and the Blackburn Challenge going back a ways. Although it looks like they are currently working on the website and some of the years are not available right now.

HanoHano short course (which is the only course SUPs are allowed) is in Mission Bay, San Diego which is flat water. The Hal Rosoff Classic short course (which again is the only course SUPs are allowed) is in Newport Harbor. I guess both are subject to tidal in and out flow, but they are not open water. The Ta-hoe Nalu has been running for 10 years on Lake Tahoe, Ca. All the results for these races should be on PaddleGuru.com
