Long Hudson Paddle — July 22

LB, this is exactly where that happened. That whole incident keeps popping up in my news feed. I think she sabotaged the vent plug in the kayak.

Yugi, we do take dips in the river. (Or was that falling? I forget.) Contrary to that old reputation, it's pretty clean. The water is muddy, but that's because it's a river.

The sun isn't that strong when it's hazy, but you can still burn. It wasn't hazy for the whole trip — maybe half of it. I'm more dark-skinned than many so the sun doesn't get me so quickly, but I do burn.

I'm going to have to check out that "Hudson" album now.
