If I had known that the 8'7 was available in 110 liters I would have gone with that, but two boards are better than one so I'm happy the way it turned out.

What I meant by that is that I would probably have been happy with the low volume 8'7 as my only board instead of buying two, but I didn't find out the lower volume version was available until after I bought the 8'4. So going with the 8'10 at that point was the logical choice and it worked out well.

Hey Tom,
Got no new private messages, but I am interested in driving down to your area and meeting up with you sometime in the next couple of weeks.  My daughter lives in La Mesa and it would be nice to combine a visit and a surf session in your neck of the woods.

+1 to JimK

I always like to know my board's mom and dad, just in case.
Also dealers here like Jimk always offers generous Zoner discount when they can plus the ability to

Agreed- Bought mine from JimK as well- along with a previous board, a lot of paddles and accessories and he does a great job.  and i dont mind seeing him make money for his help and advice- Its well deserved.....

......BUT when anything goes 50% off after you buy it it stings!

I'm not really in a position to buy without selling a sup first but for the heck of it I sent a message to their "Contact us" link a couple days ago and have not heard back.  I inquired on how they would handle shipping damage?  Bad question I quess! Lol

Anytime I send an email asking a "direct question" on a product and I don't hear back from that company, that ALWAYS raises a red flag in my mind for me.

well, for one thing, dummy me forgot to ask , about shipping damage.  other than that, i asked about payment, location of the board, availability of the board, and so on.  iow, nothing that'd make them blink and stall, if that's what your asking.

All's I was trying to find out is how they'd handle a sup damaged during shipment?   The fact they didn't respond to me and responded to you about other questions is "blink and stall" as you put it I guess.
