Blue Planet Surf Shop expansion celebration event invitation

This is an open invitation to all Blue Planet customers to join us for a celebration and fundraiser for Access Surf from 6 pm-8:30 pm on March 19th.  A $10 donation to Access Surf will get you two drinks, pupus and a raffle ticket, the grand prize is a new Blue Planet SUP board.  Surfer Joe Teipel will be the MC, we will have a blessing of the new parking lot, warehouse, and our re-modeled and expanded retail space.  We will present a new mural by artist Hilton Alves who will sign his artwork at the event.   Our shop staff will be on hand to show you the latest Blue Planet gear and we will have some great offers for attendees all day long. 

Parking: The event will be held in the parking lot, so our parking lot will be closed after 4 pm,  please find parking elsewhere and walk to the event.  If you are not able to free parking close by, paid parking is available the the Blaisdell Center, a short walk away.

Good on you Robert. Blue Planet is an automatic stop anytime I go to Oahu. We only get there once a year or so, but even Diane can drive straight to it. Great to see that you're expanding.

That's a great idea, I asked AccesSurf.org to set up a way to purchase tickets online to enter the door prize drawing, I'll post an update on that soon.

Aww come on Stoney, yes I spend some $$ on the raffle tickets and stuff the raffle boxes but it's just my good fortune that scores me the big wins !!

Now if my logic only worked with the Lottery I could have bought your brothers House by now !!

I talked to AccesSurf, we are planning to make "door prize tickets" available online (I was told we can't call it a raffle).  A donation of $20 will give you 5 ticket numbers.

AccesSurf will email you the numbers purchased and we plan to have a live video feed of the drawing through Periscope.  The grand prize is a Blue Planet SUP.  The deadline to get tickets is 5 pm Hawaii time on March 19th, the drawing will be at 8 pm.

Hilton Alves, the artist who just completed our new shop mural also donated an original painting (valued at $2000) and we will have door prizes from GoPro, DaKine, and others, so there will be a lot of great prizes.

The event was really great.  Ronnie, who won the new SUP board at the raffle, donated it back to AccesSurf, so we auctioned it off to the highest bidder.  Here is a photo album of the celebration event:
