Here's a few fun ones, I'm practicing using my paddle as a pivot, switching hands for backside bottom turns and cutbacks, etc. This is really fun when it comes together a little. With my back and knee, I'm lucky to be in the water. Love SUP'ing now. Time to start thinking of flow...

It's what its all about. You're progressing quickly....I see guys that have been supping for years that don't use their paddle.
In my next life I hope to be able switch hands and use my paddle like Adriano Lima.......artist at work.

Hey sweet video thanks for reposting.
it's been asked before and I haven't found an answer  (or I need to learn Portuguese to hear it)

Anyone know Adriano Lima's height and weight?
Volume and size of his board in this video?
Aloha, I welcome and appreciate all responses of positivity and good feeling.

I always have trouble w/paddle transfers, especially backside. It's like I hafta force myself to think about it almost too much. You're makin' it look easy! Nice quick pass offs! Check this Sunova vid, one of my favorites. Guy is really doing it nicely. I like how he keeps his paddle really low, like below his chest the entire time.
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Looking good but try shortening your paddle it makes a big difference braddah. Good job though.
