8'0 Starboard Pro
« on: February 04, 2016, 07:00:38 PM »
Soooooo bad .... I couldn't resist the impulse as the price for this used but in pristine condition 8'0x28 Pro, for $500, was right.  Took her out in fun waist plus waves today and had a blast!

8'0x28 Pro, for $500

Great find, $500 is a steal.  I'd like to find a 7-4 Pro for $500 :-)

My experience is that the smaller the board, the lower the resale value. Am I wrong? Must be the very limited market for small (less than 110ltr) boards. So there likely will be another good buy out there.  Just have to be searching all the time.
I just got in trouble with the wife for bringing home a 7'8" L41 Simsup production board, I picked up for much less than $500. It needs some repairs, but it weighs what it should.  Didn't need it, but I know I will have fun with it.

Mermaid has no problem since she's lonely by herself.  ;)

Here's the pic of the prior owner having fun.  This was his backup board to the 7'7 Pro.  He has on order a 6'10 Hyper Nut so the 8'0 has to go to me.  ;)

Took it out this morning in solid 4-6 waves ... freaking loving it!

Nice board!  I have two of them.

They ride much looser with a tri-fin setup, FYI. :)
