Anybody hit 1st Beach today?

Been up here for a week and FINALLY got in the water this am due to a couple of broken toes. 

Super fun session with my son-in-law and Linter over in Narragansett early this am. Got to try Linter's Black and Blue, which was a treat and something I've wanted to try for quite a while...I really liked it A LOT!  Thanks Erik!!!  Conditions were very nice...light winds and plenty of thigh to stomach waves.  Linter has his board pegged quite nicely....its fun to watch him consistently ride way up in the front seat so to speak.  Wish I brought my Gopro out!!!!

Fun session at 1st this am......nice and clean early morning then started to chop up and get a bit mushy come 8:30am.  Great to finally catch up and surf with Stoneaxe for a couple of hours!  Watch out for those brain eating shrimp in the future Stoney! Damn that was funny!   

Stoney:  That tail handle is friggin awesome on your Foote (sweet board too!!!!!!),  Somebody needs to pursue making a batch and making a few bucks!  I'd be in for at least 3.

I don't know what is it is about the friggin shrimp at 1st beach...I keep getting attacked by the damn things. That one squirmed right up into my sinus,,,,I don't think I've ever blown my nose so violently before....felt beyond weird.

Yeah somebody needs to do it.

Managed to get out from 8-9am this morning, only knee occasional waist but glassy clean little fun waves. I was hoping to see a few familiar zoners but none (WhatsSup was back in Annapolis, Mr. Big probably on one of his flat water speed training runs, Kayadogg still in honeymoon bliss, and everyone else ??).

Keep your eyes on the forecast, might be some stuff heading our way.....fingers crossed !!

As of this morning, it is looking absolutely great for Saturday. Waist to chest, maybe some head high sets, offshore wind. Hopefully the forecast stays and we can all enjoy some waves before the water and weather starts to get cold.

they're just trying to help--giving you a cleanout. If you could clear your tubes I'd take you to a cleaning station in Maui. You can pull your regulator, open your mouth and the cleaner shrimp climb right in and clean your tongue. If you keep your lips closed they take the dead skin off your lips. Yeah, it feels very weird.
