Just got off the phone with Mike. 

The camera is running but needs someone with programming savvy to convert the feed to a j-peg.  He thinks someone who knew their sh!t could untangle it in an hour or so.

In addition, the traffic is sucking a lot of band width for its current configuration.

To really make it hum into perpetuity, Mike's envisioning about a $5k programming overhaul.  Without knowing about anything high tech, I suggested a Kickstarter project to raise the money.  I'm one of the biggest cheapskates, but it's worth a few bucks of mine to have it.

Is there anyone out there who could help??

The original platform is written in a "dead" language.

There are two projects - fix the more beach website which is a more complex and costly adventure; fix the cam and have a minimal "site" just for the cam. I suspect Mike is more interested in keeping more each alive as he had 10 years of time and energy invested.
