Also as I stated before, journalism is a dying art and those who still choose it for a career choice are often put in situations where if they want to keep their jobs, they do what the boss says and journalistic integrity goes out the window.  To be fair, this was obviously not intended to be a riveting story but just a light hearted interest piece.  Still it's annoying to get someone so unknowledgeable about the story and yet this person comes from an area with the very subject is a major part of the culture.
