Hey all! I am taking a trip to Panama City Beach next Wednesday and I will be staying with a friend in a condo with no space to put my board in the room with us. But I really want to bring it and try to catch a few waves. I'm terrified of leaving it in the back of my truck to be stolen, but the the thought of sitting on the beach, watching wave after wave crash in, and not having my board with me is devastating. I'm from Middle-Of-Nowhere Alabama where it is impossible to surf, so I dont want to miss my chance. Is there any way to store my board while im not using it? Is that even a thing? What would y'all recomend?

Unless a storm starts brewing right now, there won't be much surf in the panhandle in the next week. Surfline report

East Florida is getting a small swell (1'-3'). Pretty impressive for July, but nothing spectacular.

Buy a board lock if you have a longboard fin box and lock it in.

I lock mine of my racks all the time (Los Angeles) and they are fine.

Even if there are no waves there is some great flatwater paddling there.
