Currently ride an older Squirt carbon 6 7. And carbon hero 9 0.  Mostly river surfing here in CO..  I am 210, 6  0.
On the squirt I basically olly onto the wave.

Anyway, trying to decide, 8'0" hyper it carbon or 7'8".  We love the carbon here because it can take hard rock hits.  Any input would be appreciated.

Yes this board too me has a p.r feel I'm coming from a 7'10x 30 airborne and the nut is nothing like the airbornes at all. It is higher volume and more playful on the wave. It is the only board I ride as I like  to commit to 1 board it handles 6 inch to 3 ft overhead with no problem I think I should drop to 7'2 but I'm having fun on 7'4 and is a joy to ride on choppy days and long sessions.

Really? You don't think it's wobbly or unstable in surf?..  I'll be in Oregon coast next summer, just can't imagine I will be able to balance on that board w/o falling off all the time.
Thanks for the input

If your riding the squirt I don't think u will have any problem at all.... These are pretty heavy volume boards. I'll be out in Oregon this summer if u wanna try the 7'4 but that's a ways off.

Yea! Where? Those waves def get the "Most Beautiful and Perfect" award here on The Zone!
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"
