Picked up a brand new Naish Javelin LE 14 (2013 model I think, great deal) a few weeks ago and I'm very impressed with it. Now I know what DJ's videos are all about. It's also my first 14' board and I think I'm selling my 12'6s. Fast board and not as tippy as you'd think. Took it out in the ocean a few times in swell and chop and did fine. Even caught a few waves and paddled in and out of small surf comfortably. Seems to catch bumps with ease. Really surprised how much rocker this flatwater board has.

I tested a lot of 14' boards before I found this and this was the best fit for me at 150 lbs. I really got lucky on this one. Just tested it out against a Bark Dominator and Fanatic Falcon Flatwater. Both too much volume for me. Even the D2 felt big. Pics below.

Congrats on finding your match, great pics of the boards. Two very different design philosophies, high volume vs low volume. I'm trying to figure out what's best for my 155 pounds, a 220 liter Sprint or a 287 liter fanatic flatwater. Its taking a lot of paddling of each to arrive at a conclusion.....
