then cut off the thick part where it starts to flatten out...along the red line. Turn it backwards so that the rear of the stomp faces front and peel and stick where you want it....shape it with the belt sander before install....I'd put some finger ledge at the front for a bit more grab.

Yes, those are easy to shape with a sander. Also L200 foam can be used if you want an arch bar or something.

what glue do you use for this ? It must take a hammering.

Do you shape the foam or cut it at all?

Are you responding to the stomp pad post...or to Bill's much earlier one. Pono is Bill...I'm Bob...not the 1st time folks have mixed us up...including our Dad....:)

The Stomp is 3m adhesive or similar. Shape to allow for grabbing but impossible to catch fingers.
