If you are interested in a move to Namibia you could have this spot to yourself.  Holy nutz.  60MPH in that narrow, twisty, shallow...lake?

About 20 years ago we used to do speed runs in the hydration channels at some windmills near I5 in southern California. Don't remember the name of the place, but the water-filled channels increased air density and made the windmills more efficient. They were about 20' across and a mile or so, straight as a string and 3-4 feet deep. We got run off a few times, and last I heard they stopped filling them, but it was plenty crazy going as fast as you could in a twenty foot slot. More than a few guys wound up cartwheeling down the access road. Not me, though I had some spectacular face plants. I wasn't very good, my only advantage was a fat ass.

Was that spot called The Ponds? Or I seem to remember that was by Palm Springs? Famous speed spot before my day.
