Anyone have experience with WatersEdge Boards out of the New Smyrna Beach FL area?  They appear to be smartly designed surf SUPs, and competitively priced.  I'm curious about their surfability and durability.  Any owners out there??

I bought an 11' longboard style last summer....it turned out that it was too big for my liking in surf, although it surfed pretty well.

It was only 30" wide but really stable... I have never been comfortable on any 30" wide board, so that was surprising to me.

I loved it in flat-water....  great cruiser

I found the build quality was a bit suspect last year, but I would certainly give them another chance.
I had an issue with a crack on the first day... it was replaced that same day.... I later broke out the fin box and had to replace it with a more heavily reinforced box. I passed along my experience to them... hopefully they have addressed the issue.

I sold it pretty quick, when I decided that I really wasn't into a surf SUP that big.

Nauset Sports... a local shop, has gotten in a new shipment of this years Watersedge "RAW look-a-like"  boards... they are good looking, super affordable and some very good surfers around here really like them.

I will try to demo soon.... but we're looking at a prolonged flat spell. I'll post when I get to ride one. If you buy one... let us know what you think!

I would love to support an American company that sells SUP's for $1,200 ;D

Creek!

About a year and a half ago you convinced me to buy a 9'10 Allwave from JimK (my name was SC Andy until I lost my Password).  Great Purchase!   I have been loving the Allwave but now it's time for something smaller.  The watersedge fish SUP caught my eye as something reasonably priced and wide enough for South Carolina choppy conditions (I'm 240 lbs).  Checked one out today at a local shop and it looks like a cool board.   I may just downsize to a new allwave as well...

I love my Watersedge. I ride a 10' SUP Performance shape. It's a very responsive board and well made. I've been riding it for a year now without any issues. Their 2014 line looks like they are continuing to explore new shapes and board construction. Good luck.

And you ride it well Mr. Tribal sir....good surfing with you the other day... as always ;D

Folly.... glad you liked the Allwave! I just recieved my Prowave today.... paddled nicely... stable.... fun to paddle, but looks like waves are a ways off... so I'll have to wait to try it out.

I really want to give the WE fish a try as well..... good luck... let us know. ;D
