Just got back from SUPing the Grand Canyon, who else on here has done it?

12 days of JK SUPerCharger testing-before you ask, I'm old enough and smart enough to pass on Laval Falls + a few others, I'll leave that to younger studs! Marble canyon rapids, Roaring 20's, the Gems + 6's-7's was more my comfort zone. Water was running up to 25k. Out of the 250mi trip, I figure I SUPed ~210mi. It was a trip of a lifetime!

That is so cool!  I am assuming this was a guided trip?  Did you need special permits to do this?

Holy moly.... that looks insane :o

Good for you. That must have been unbelievable.... just standing at the top of Grand Canyon is awe inspiring.

Quit being coy, we want all the details, all the stories, and all the pictures!

Stoked for you Tony! Can't help but put it out there but this is the real mastermind behind the new board. I may have motivated them but he actually laid hands to the plug and then the mold when it got back to the factory in Tennessee. It got back from the foundry, me made a few then took off. Awesome man. Can I tell them how young you are too? Congratulations on the whole project.

I recently did a SUP trip through the Grand Canyon and went through all the rapids with a Blue Planet inflatable SUP (note I said with, not ON the board, haha).  It was an incredible experience and I highly recommend it.  I brought my gopro camera and posted a couple of videos on the Zen Waterman blog:

This is the video of the whole trip:

Thanks Robert!
That was a really nice, in depth look at the full Grand Canyon run. I enjoyed the narration, informative and interesting... much better than a sound track covering all the sounds.

You could see from the land shots, how much bigger the rapids were than they looked on the GoPro.

I was blown away by the Grand Canyon, just standing on the rim... can't imagine how cool it was looking up.

That last little bit while you were walking that narrow trail looked a bit sketchy...  :o

Well... I can cross that off my bucket list... I've run the Colorado :D

I just stopped at the south rim on our way to CA and it was mind-blowing from the top. I can't imagine how it looked through 200+ miles down below. Very nice, thanks for sharing.
