From the page describing the new Mac Book Air. http://www.apple.com/macbook-air/

Kinda cool how it's a SUP about to enter a meaty barrel rather than some tedious flatwater shot.
Taller than most, shorter than others.

A lot of surfers at Apple. That's why the new OS is called Mavericks (it baffles the non surfer user)  ;D

Love it

Maybe someday they will put DJ in their ad  ;D

And then Samsung will copy it  :-[

DJ don't sell out no matter what Samsung offers you. Haha

Did you see Aston Kutcher sold out for 10 million today. He's the new face for Lenovo. Apple fanboy sell out.

JeanG

I would've done it for $9million. Lenovo, if you're reading this, give me a ring.

I was an Apple IT tech for ten years -- this was during the 90s when the majority of people hated Apple, and then it started going down the toilet. Wow, those were scary times. I thought I was going to be rendered obsolete. That's one of the reasons I became a teacher.

Since then Apple had this amazing rise. It boggles my mind, even a confirmed Apple fanboy like myself. When the value of Apple stock rose above Microsoft's, those were strange tidings indeed.

Good to see Apple is still aware of what's cool.

Good to know. Maybe we should all hit you up for free tech support. ;)

...and that's not my first one.  I sold it to a lady in an ad agency because she could actually 'set type' with it rather than send it out.  Typesetters = Buggy Whip makers.  I still fire it about every 5yrs to remind myself that life was not always 27" iMacs, pads, notebooks and cable.

Dumb Chit.. I bought all the product ..but never their stock.

Dumber Chit--I bought all the products and $10K worth of Apple stock (and 10K of Microsoft) in the late 70''s or early 80's after a few months of stimulant-fueled 18 hour days working as a flat rate mechanic in a motorcycle shop with a huge backlog left me with about $35K in extra cash. I got tired of watching the stock go up and down, so I sold it and tried to buy a junky house and 10 acres of land in Los Gatos. After that deal fell through I slowly pissed away the bucks, using the remnant to buy a house in Portland that my second wife wound up with. So it goes. By my rough calculation if I had left that $10K alone it would be worth about $500 Million today. The Microsoft shares would be about $300 million also.

I started a company called Spite Software that sold CP/M-80 software and 1200 baud modems imported from china. Zero to a million in one year, and then eventually back to zero. My partner--Norm Worthington-- and I signed up as apple developers and bought two of the first 64K Macs. They were almost useless, but they were fun. We upgraded them ourselves to 128K and two disk drives and a 5 megabyte hard drive (a lot of surgery) and bought one of the first laserwriters. the retail price of the laserwriters was $10K, as developers we got it for 5K and we used it to "typeset" our catalogs for Spite Software.

I still have an Osborne-1, more or less working. Can't find the disks for the operating system.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Tech support isn't exactly free, but it's bartered for used SUPs and accessories.  ;)

I have the disks.  I'll make you a desk. You just have to take my Osborn, daisywheel printer and the extra Kaypro with them. :-)
