Hey Don,

Kittery Point is beautiful. I've walked around Fort Foster quite a bit, but haven't got my board in the water yet. I'll have to get over there soon to check it out the SUP spots!

Joe,
Wilton, CT. normally paddle in the Long Island Sound around Norwalk and Westport, CT, so it's mostly flat water for me. really want to learn the surfing part though.
started up about 5 years ago and still going. think its a great way to get out on the water and just enjoy.
will probably start looking into more of the races next summer, did my first one a few weeks ago, the sound surfer watermans challenge. enjoyed it enough to try some more.

Who are you?
Kevin in real life -- I've been "shank-foo" on the internets since last century.

Where are you from?
Originally from CT, living in Boston for the past decade+.

What's your SUP passion?
So far it's been exploring, usually with Ms. Foo ... pretty much all flatwater where there's trees and wildlife to enjoy, so not much beach/surf action at all.  I live a 1/2 mile from the Charles so it's always an option, but prefer checking out new spots.  Walden Pond and the Concord/Assabet river are a couple more standbys, plus we try to get out to the Cape and poke around there as often as we can.

Would love to work my way up to doing downwinders.  Recently did a "mini-winder" with supthecreek and had a great time (thanks x1million creek, it's definitely a highlight of our time there when we get to paddle w/ya)!
