The list grows. They are each accomplished professional (former and current) surfers and watermen.  We like it.
Some ignore it.
Some hate it.

This is more of an observation. I'm not posting this to preach to the choir, as there are many lurkers on the Zone.

Nathan Fletcher has been SUSing a giant 12' log at Dog Patch recently also. From Teahupoo to DogPatch. Quite a contrast.

Gerry sent me this one awhile back  that might be the shot before the one you showed.  I like it better because of the high risk factor of the spin.  This is in the Mentawais where we had several trips under us at this particular spot... surfing but on this SUP trip, I didn't go.  Anyway he had the timing down for this wave but still .. high risk.  I like the look.

I know headmount has known the guy pretty much all his life, and I run into him a few times a year most years, but any time I talk to him the thought still pops into my head "this is Gerry fricken Lopez.", a much bigger deal to me than meeting some actor or politician.

I never understand all the fuss. A Waterman is a waterman paddle or not. Just do your own thing and live and let live.
