I like my badfish MVP more than anything else I've tried. You could throw a part on the ting, very stable, except when you dip a tube in an upstream current. then it goes for the bottom like a rappala.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

The MVP really is like nothing iv'e ever paddled before!

I would agree with the above comments. Super fun board and completely different design then any other board on the market.

How do you like the street fighter? Have you had a chance to try the plastic version? I just got my Hala Atcha yesterday from company here in town, and going to test it out on lake tmrw to get the feel for it.

So, in your opinion how does the Streetfighter size up to the MVP 9'o,in general?

My MVP is defo more forgiving whilst running white water than my SUPercharger.

suptruckee- I'd be very interested in hearing your comparison of the mvp vs. street fighter in terms of river running stability as well. The street fighter looks super sweet. Any comments about durability? How does it handle rock hits? The plastic version at 38 lbs may be the ticket. Thanks!

The Streetfighter is Kevlar I believe, so, should be pretty bombproof! Wish I could get one over here in the UK..... ::)

I too look forward to everyone's experiences with the different boards. How is the MCIT for river running? How does it compare with the MVP, the SUPercharger and Corran's boards ?

Update. Man, it's hard to find anyone with boards in stock. Lots here have inflatables or lake boards. Want to try an Imagine but no one has the surfer in stock and customer service hasn't replied to my emails. The new Streetfighter is out in August, going to demo one when it hits. A shop near here has the Corran Tahiti and Waikiki in transit, hoping to demo those when they land.

Busier than a hooker at Fleet Week, no time to do much besides sleep/work anyway.

MCIT was super stable down a calmer river. Have not tried it in anything rough. Remember to take off the larger center fin though, I caught it on some sand and did a cartwheel over the front in cold october colorado water. Fun board though.

Thanks for the feedback. So far I've only paddled the Imagine Rapidfire and Surfer, and the NRS Big Earl in whitewater. I've paddled the MCIT in lakes and even surfed a bit in the ocean with it (I'm not a surfer), but not in whitewater. This year I've got a 10'6 MCIT and a 9'0" Badfish MVP to try on the rivers. Unfortunately  ;) I'm heading to Belize soon so won't get to try either in whitewater for a while. I will have the MCIT with me and look forward to paddling on rivers and the ocean with it down there.

Waiting on the Corrans to arrive at a local place I just discovered (thanks Corran for that info). Also going to demo the C4s the same place has.

Here is my streetfighter in action at the reno white water park. I have also been playing with a badfish 9.0 mvp. 6.11 river surfer and mcit.

Just looked at this pic again, looks like water is shooting out of the slot that is for paddle to rest. Is that the slot for a paddle? I know some of the Corrans have that option.

What C4's are you going to demo? Never tried their boards, but have a C4 paddle that I like but is super wide and hits rails often on the wider boards.

I think it's a C4 Waterman iSUP XXL. They had another with a crescent tail. Torn between one of these and the corrans. I like the light weight of the isups, esp as I can hike with them. They're hugely popular around here, too.

Found a pretty good sized sup community here, so paddling with others won't be an issue.

Back to cutting up a tree. 100yo maple with a trunk that's around 5' in diameter fell. Enough wood to last me a long time. :)
