Anxiously waiting.... ;). I  keep one of the 1st issues in my truck...when people ask what the board is for instead of trying to explain I show them the pics. The extraordinary photography tells the story much better than I can.

Just  got my new issue .. beautiful !   I especially like the photo section ... very nice to see your own board   in  a beautiful photo  ...  The one thing  I don't like too much  about my Bic Jungle  is its graphics  but seeing  Ben Thouard's  pic of  Manu Bouvet  catching a  Caribbean  evening  session  on his  Bic on  a nice glassy wave  near  dusk with  rainbow  overhead, paddle on the lip of the wave , tail  rail on the  wave and rest of the  board suspended out  in the air   was amazing !!

By the way ,Clay ,  as   a   windsurfer  , I originally subscribed to the Journal  when it  was  going to be called the Windsurf  Journal    , as  I remember the  Windtracks and    the Windsurf Journal from years past ... and was a bit  perturbed when the name was changed to  the Standup  Surf and Sail  Journal , but now  that   I am a Standup   guy myself   ,  I could care less...  in fact the few windsurf pics in the journal , look  so  "old  hat " compared  to the  beautiful  Standup  pics  that chronicle the real drama of wave riding ,  as well as the peacefulness , of flat water /ocean  paddling, ...
perhaps  as  time goes on we can see more  pics of folks wave sailing  on the  SUP boards  rather than on sailing on  shortboards or  free ride boards... that would be nice and help to document  what  is a very nice  part of the the Standup scene . ....    great job on a wonderful new Journal  !!!

Thanks jjue! You made my day and the boyz in the Standup Journal band's day as well!! I agree we would like to get some photos (worthy images cause we don't want to run a photo just to run a photo if you  know what i mean) of sup boards riding onshore mush with windsurf sails... after all how many times does a side/onshore wind kill a good sup sesh?

Plenty!

We are VERY proud of this latest issue guys... but actually I think next issue is as good... or BETTER! -- I can't believe I'm even saying this cause this latest, "Fall" iis the best ish I have ever been involved with.

Thanks! The next wave of recent subscriber copies mails out next week; still time to sign up and get this one: www.standupjournal.com/subscribe

I signed up a few weeks back and I bet just missed it's arrival when I flew out yesterday- I'm in Detroit this week and it would've been perfect to get me through.  Oh well, I'll look forward to getting back and checking out my first copy...

I've gotta subscribe!
I found mine at Books A Million. They were faster at getting it out than B&N.
