New Jersey may get the full brunt of the storm...
But the Cape is going to pounded by large swells for over 5 days.
Our soft sand beaches are used to moving around... but this may get interesting.

The size, direction and duration of these onshore wind/waves may well test our barrier beaches and inlets.... we'll see... google may have to update it's picture.

It will be particularly challenging to Chatham.

weather channel is saying this is gonna be Armageddon!
Sandy looks impressive-i guess its unprecedented for a hurricane to turn inland this late in October-big full moon will combine for big tide push.

That front from the north is creating a big low pressure... the storm is going to roll right into that trough. Probably won't be as bad as predicted, but it will be interesting.

It will be very interesting how Chatham makes out.
