coreban added 2 chines and 4 future fin boxes side of rails. is this more efficient or does this just look intimidating?

That would not work in rough open ocean like here in Hawaii. How would you steer that thing ??  looks very directional.

so far, and i have only ridden once, its seems pretty dam fast. Yes its tippy, but so is a 23' wide Sb ace and folks race them all the time.

Some odd wake coming off the back I think due to the turbo hull.

We have a top paddler in NZ about to use it on a 25km paddle so will post result after that.

Old School

I paddled one for a few minutes at Surf Expo.  Very fast and tracks great.  I don't remember having any issues with balance while paddling, but the board puts a huge premium on being able to get back on the tail to turn.  At 250 pounds with marginal balance, turning this board was too big of a hassle.  I suspect it would get pushed around a lot in choppy water as well, but no way to know without getting it out there.  Overall I was not a fan.
