I don't know about it being spoiled. I would consider myself spoiled to live on the North Shore. I am from Florida though where the waves are not that good.

Creek... those Beach Blanket Bingo surf movies must have drove you guys crazy back then. One scene real surfer going down a 20' face, next shot a close up of Frankie Avalon with some guy behind the camera squirting him with a squirt gun. Nexy scene Frankie walking up the beach carrying surfboard and not a wave in sight, flat as a pancake. Go figure...

We were just trying to get a glimps of Mickey Dora or Johnny Fain as the surf extra's on those movies.

Maui, where was your lunch wagon? Haleiwa? or did you just roam? All I could afford in those days was a very rare trip to Matsumoto's Shave Ice!!! What a great town. Running a lunch wagon must have been a trip on the North Shore

No Ron... I am still holding on to the "Sweeper" Trophy you earned at the Wellfleet SUPatalon.
You and a few other Zoners were the ONLY ones to do 8 paddle race laps on a SURF SUP and do the 8 Laps of marathon DEEP sand run.... even the young guys opted to have pinch runners.... You are an animal! We have to hook up so I can give you your trophy... It's really sweet looking.
