Sweet!! I've been waiting for that to come out. Glad you had a starring role. Thanks for sharing.

Oops! I thought they were coming out with a typical doc. Just to clarify to all, The Granite Stoke is a documentary of sorts, but a series of shorts. If you go to the blogspot, there is a link to their vimeo page that has a bunch. Again, congrats to you Shawn and thanks for sharing your stoke.

Hey, thanks for the kind words. I'm just the guy in the vid; the real talent are the guys from Granite Stoke. They have a very cool, original outlook on shooting, editing and story telling. Glad you guys like it.
Now let's get some surf!

Hey, finally got an ID & pwd to work... post #1  :D

Shawn, great little vid.  That part about the need to get in the ocean (lake is ok, but not the same) hit the nail on the head!  I NEED to get in the water.

Wall cleaned up today, with inconsistent/varying height waves (knee one minute, solid chest the next).  Even got a couple head high sets that came through every so often.  Was nice to finally get the Icon into some sizeable (for me) surf.  The bigger beachbreak really jacked up vertical in a hurry... amazed that the board held on those steep angles.  Just had the 6" main fin & the 2 sidebites.... guessing it would've been a different story with the quad setup.

I'm sure I'll see you out there at some point soon.

Hey Dan,
I must have missed you today. I was at 6th street from 1-3, and was one of only 2 guys out on a SUP. What time were you there? Send me a message anytime you're going, and we can surf sometime.
It was waist to chest and lining up nice when I was out- getting barrelled on my 8' Vibe! It was quite a nice swell all weekend long; rode Straws on my 9' Fusion yesterday- 6' plus on the drops!

Hey, from one teacher to another, you must be an inspiration to your kids. I know they like it when we teachers do crazy things.
