Congratulations to Kai! Isn't he 17 years old? Incredible.

Big ups to John EB from Florida for his performance.

I think Kai is 18, but still...what a guy.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Very similar to the way Robbie Naish burst onto the windsurfing scene, he wasn't the first champ, I think Mike Waltze was, but I'm pretty sure she was the next one, and he was still just a kid.

BTW, Robbie Naish's windsurfing competition number is US 1111, and Kai Lenny's # is US 1112.
Naish is one of his sponsors.

Here's a link to a pretty cool vid put together about the history of windsurfing that has some great archival footage of Robbie Naish as the kid who rips.

And a clip of Kai doing his trick, the "Kaino"..................... kids, humph.

It takes a quiver to do that.
