It was 5 miles, you can use the maps and course to make an assumption but not positive how accurate it was. i was on a converted windsurfer that was 10' 6" x 25.5" so i was set up for failure at the start. I dont have a raceboard yet. It was great just to participate with the best. Heres a pic of Danny Ching cheering me on at the finish.

Race #2 for the Sunshine SUP Series was today in Pompano Beach, FL.  http://sunshinesup.com/ Packet casey won both the open 3 mile race and 6 mile elite race. I came in 16th overall out of over 40 people in the open race. Not gonna make the coldstroke, need a race board first.

Thanks for the info, the great picture and congrats.
You might be able to borrow a racing board if you talk to Jeoffrey, the race organizer. Naish will have some demos there.
That was nice of Danny to stay and cheer the finishers.
I am all stoked for the Coldstroke.
Will Packet Casey be there?
