I have a C4 Waterman ATB iSup and its a lot of fun on Vancouver island.  I've surfed with it Tofino and paddled it around Parksville,Comox, etc.

The nice thing with an inflatable is that you can keep it in the trunk of your car.   In the summer I keep it in the trunk so I can go paddling after work.  I don't have to worry about it getting stolen, etc.

An inflatble may not have the same "performance" as a expoxy/composite board but for me the portability makes a huge difference.  You can pack it into a hockey bag and ALL Canadian airlines accept hockey bags as standard baggage!
I took my board to Nova Scotia last year and I did NOT have to pay extra for it.

I also picked up a three piece Werner Nitro. Again its super portable.

ULI's are great boards - I have an 11 and a 10 footer and use to put both of them in the back of an Infiniti G35 then when at home they can go in a closet and out of the way.  They are really good boards
