Maui to Molokai results.

Just finished moments ago. Conditions were perfect apparently. Winds directly behind at approx 18 knots.

I was above the surf spot with a bird's eye of the start.  Light to zero wind at the start with occasional light drizzle.  The start was impressive for a race that was to go 28 miles.  They had their engines roaring off the gate.  Last phone call I got from Molokai reported continued doldrums off Maui until Molokai where it apparently did get much better down the stretch to Kaunakakai.  I took a vid which is at

DJ... if you look at the results you posted, you'll see that the top two times are Conner's.   Why they made two different times, altho a sec apart, is a mystery.  But he won the elite and M-1-19.  Ekolu's who came in second is the third time.  But thanks for the very quick report.   You knew before we did.  Check out Conner in the start pic.  Everyone is standing and he's still sitting.  Low far right side (as you look) in red is Dave, and Conner is up third person after Dave...
