Day 1 of the 3rd event for the Stand Up Paddle World Tour.

At Sapinus the surf is head high plus and building. The southwest swell pushing through the reef is making for grinding waves with some heavy sections. The morning warm up sessions has already claimed some broken boards. With the swell building we are anticipating some great action from round one of the trials.

Hi all. We held the first part of the trials. The conditions started off nice and glassy but then 20 knot gusts started blowing.
The following athletes are through to the second round:
David Dorence, Tchin Chi Yen Steeve, Riggs Napoleon, Domenech Fookarim,  Julien Sudrat, Hitimaue Vatea, Kalani Kahalioumi, Patrick Bourligueux, Chuck Glynn, Sverre Strom, Tahutini Heipara, Scott McKercher, Ikaika Kawai, Conti Teiki, Carabasse Serge and Tuahine Paul

Notable performances were by Riggs Napoleon who at 12 years of age is continuing to show us why he made it through into the main event at Sunset Beach in February. Serge Carabasse had the highest score of 12 in the 8th heat.

We have some pictures at www.watermanleague.com.
We are also still trying to sort out a live feed for the main event and will keep you all posted.

25th May -
Today is a lay day and it looks as though tomorrow will be on to finish the trials and with luck, start the main event. Two large swells are expected on Wednesday and Friday that are going to provide some pretty impressive and challenging conditions for our athletes.

Do you mean knocked out- eliminated or knocked out- unconscious?  ???
